Why Use A File Shredder?

Even deleting files and logs from your system manually does not offer the level of protection you might require from snooping eyes. There are several reason to do this. Other Options

MSN Messenger is only one Instant Messenger that can be scanned using ParetoLogic Privacy Controls. Other messengers contain more than one group of files to search for. In these cases you should the arrow next to the messenger and then either enable and disable the options individually or remove the tick from next to the name of the messenger to completely ignore that application.

ParetoLogic Privacy Controls Options To Suit

ParetoLogic Privacy Controls is a versatile scanning and removal engine. It can be used to completely remove traces of any files found within Windows software and many other third party applications. This removal is sometimes necessary to prevent a slowing down of your system and software and will almost certainly protect you against the theft of personal information.

All options can be altered to match your exact requirements each time you perform a scan of your system. Once the scan has completed you still have the opportunity to decide whether or not to delete the resulting files. Care should be taken to ensure that you only remove files you no longer require because if you use a secure deletion method then it is very difficult, or even impossible, to recover the files even using specialist data recovery software.
