How to Register and
Obtain a License Key

ParetoLogic Privacy Controls
You can perform a free scan with ParetoLogic Privacy Controls to try it out before you buy it. You will be able to run a full scan on your computer, but you will be unable to erase any of the items found during the scan with the trial version. You need to buy the full version of ParetoLogic Privacy Controls to enable the program to function fully. You can upgrade the trial version to a full version with a license key. You can obtain a license key and register your product to have the complete functionality of ParetoLogic Privacy Controls allowing you to erase any of the items found during the scan.
How to Register ParetoLogic Privacy Controls
You will need to buy a full version by following the directions given below or you can purchase a full version here:

If you have a trial version you do not need to use the website listed above to purchase ParetoLogic Privacy Controls; you can upgrade the trial version to a full version by entering a license key that registers your product and starts your subscription.
1 – Obtain a License Key for ParetoLogic Privacy Controls
You will have to have an Internet connection to obtain a license key for your program. To do this complete the following steps as detailed below:
- Open ParetoLogic Privacy Controls – you will see the Main window as shown here:
- Select About on the main window to open the About page. You will see the window shown here:

Note: In the registration area the License version, License key, and License valid until date have been covered in the above picture for security reasons.
- Click on the Get License Key button located in the Registration area of the About page.
Note: This button is not seen in the above example since the program used in the example is already registered. It will be available in a trail version until you complete the registration process. Once you have entered a License Key and registered ParetoLogic Privacy Controls you will then see the License version, License key, and License valid until date areas filled in with your information and the Get License Key button is replaced with a Renew License button as shown.
- An Internet browser will be opened. Follow the directions provided to purchase the License Key for ParetoLogic Privacy Controls.
When you have finished the required registration process to get the License Key it will be sent to you through email. You will then have to enter it as needed to activate your subscription for ParetoLogic Privacy Controls.
2 - Entering Your License Key
Once you have received your License Key from us in your email, you can enter it to get all of the functionality of the full version of ParetoLogic Privacy Controls. To do this complete the following steps as detailed below:
- Open ParetoLogic Privacy Controls
- Open the About window by selecting it on the Main window.
- Type in the License Key you have or copy and paste it into the Registration section in the License Key area.
- When you have finished; click OK to complete the process.
You will then see all of the information under the Registration area filled out including the License version and the License valid until date along with the License Key you entered. The Get License Key button is replaced with a Renew License button as shown here: (excluding the actual License Key)

Renewing Your License Key
If your license is about to expire you will need to renew it. It is done differently than described here. You can learn more about renewing your license key through support as well.
