ParetoLogic Privacy Controls License Key

When you use the full registered version of ParetoLogic Privacy Controls you will have a license key for your subscription. The license key expires at the end of your subscription, but it can be easily renewed. If you do not renew your license key you will lose the ability to erase any items you have found after you run a scan with ParetoLogic Privacy Controls. You can renew the license key at any time as long as you have an Internet connection and it is close enough to the expiration date of your subscription.

Renewing ParetoLogic Privacy Controls License Key

To renew your license key you will need to perform the following steps as directed:

1 - Open ParetoLogic Privacy Controls

Open ParetoLogic Privacy Controls – you will see the Main window as shown here:

2 – Open ParetoLogic Privacy Controls About Page

Select About on the main page to open the About page. You will see the window shown here:

You can see a lot of information about your ParetoLogic Privacy Controls programs registration on the About page. It will tell you the License version, License key, and License valid until date in the Registration section. In the above example you can see that it is a Full Subscription that expires on 3/30/2008. You will notice the License key has been covered in the above picture for security reasons. You can check to see when your subscription expires at any time by looking at the About page. If your license is about to expire you will need to renew it by doing the following:

3 – Renew License Key Button

Once you have the About page opened, click on the Renew License button that is located in the Registration area.

4 – Resetting the License Key

An Internet browser will be opened. Follow the directions provided to renew the License Key for ParetoLogic Privacy Controls.

When you have completed the renewal process close the Internet browser window. You will see the new information in ParetoLogic Privacy Controls About page including the new License valid until date.

Your ParetoLogic Privacy Controls license has been reset. You will receive a confirmation email confirming this for your records.

Non Expired License Key Renewal

If you attempt to renew your license key too soon before the expiration date you will be unable to renew it. When you click on the Renew License button that is located in the Registration area as instructed above; an Internet browser will be opened, but you will not be able to renew your license. You will be taken to a page informing you that you do not need to renew your license key at this time. You can see this page below:

You will have to wait until it is closer to the expiration date of ParetoLogic Privacy Controls to renew your license key. When it is close enough to the expiration date of your subscription you will be able to proceed as directed above.
