How To Integrate The Spam Controls Tool Bar Into Outlook Express
The ParetoLogic Spam Controls Application
Spam Controls from ParetoLogic is an anti spam program that is compatible with Outlook and Outlook Express. The application runs in the background of your computer scanning all incoming email according to the options and settings that you determine. Block and Allow lists enable you to effectively ensure that spam is captured as it arrives but you don't miss any vital email from genuine contacts. The Spam Controls toolbar is the final piece of the anti spam jigsaw and integrates seamlessly into Outlook and Outlook Express.

Automated Addition Of The Toolbar
The addition of the Spam Controls toolbar is automated and completes when you first install the application. As such, installing Spam Controls is the only step you really need to take. There is no need to install the toolbar separately.

Installing ParetoLogic Spam Controls
In order to install the Spam Controls application double click the installer that you downloaded or insert the disc into the disc drive of your computer. This will start the main installer application so that you can add all of the necessary elements to your computer.
Ensure that you choose the appropriate location for the program to be installed and accept the terms of the user agreement. Once you have completed the installer will begin. An update screen will be displayed until the program and the toolbar are added to your computer.
The Toolbar Information Dialog Box
Initially, once Spam Controls is installed, you will be presented with a Toolbar Information dialog box. This dialog box gives concise instructions on how the toolbar works and what each of the buttons do. Once you have become accustomed to the working of the toolbar, though, you may decide that it is no longer necessary to be presented with the dialog when you open your email.

Enabling And Disabling The Toolbar Dialog Box
Open the main Spam Controls dashboard and select the Options page. This can either be done manually by double clicking the system tray icon for Spam Controls or by clicking the Options button within the toolbar. Either method will navigate you to the appropriate page.
In order to disable the dialog ensure that there is no tick in the box next to the following entry:
Display Toolbar Information dialog when launching email application
The dialog can also be just as easily enabled in the future using this same technique.

The Benefits Of The Spam Controls Toolbar
The toolbar is an integral facet of the application and enables you to quickly and easily add or remove email addresses from the Block List and the Allow List. It also lets you label emails as spam or remove that label from genuine emails. The toolbar itself is self explanatory and once you have read through the information dialog a couple of times it is unlikely that you will need it to be displayed every time you open your email application in the future.
